Clare Morris Clare began to work for Dementia Matters in 2011 as a Kitchen Assistant on a temporary contract. Quickly developing a passion for care, she applied for and was successful in the role of Care & Support Assistant. She has since progressed through the organisation to her current role as Registered Service Manager, overseeing our Residential Respite unit and both of our Day Support Services. "I enjoy caring for people and would like to make a difference to someone’s life. I want to improve the feeling of wellbeing for people, I enjoy putting a smile on someone’s face. I began my career with Dementia Matters as a Kitchen Assistant, then applied for Care & Support Worker, progressing to Senior Care & Support Worker, then Specialist Worker before taking on the role of Registered Service Manager for Day Service, Respite and Residential. I love working for a charity that really puts the focus on the individuals and their families, providing the best quality person centred care."
