Coronavirus has had a huge impact on so many businesses, our Charity included. The biggest thing I have learned during the pandemic is how amazing our group of key workers truly is. We have had so much to think about, but our priority was how we were going to keep our staff and clients safe. 

From working, to home working, to furlough, working in HR has been a whirlwind since this pandemic began. Add working within the care sector to this and it adds a whole other host of things to think about.

Since our very first staff members were furloughed, we have implemented weekly welfare checks with all staff. I am so proud of every staff member. Those that have worked through, from home and have been furloughed still need to be looked after in lockdown which is why we speak to everyone each week to check in.

I understand everyone has concerns and even as a management team we have had ours. No-one knew what to do during the pandemic but all our decisions have been made with our staff and clients in mind and how to best protect them.
