Along with Mind and Macmillan Cancer care we have been chosen as the charity Partner for Connect Health in their 30 in 30 campaign. We are super excited about the partnership and hope to get involved in some exciting events throughout the year.

Connect Health had this to say:

Connect Health is delighted to be a supporting partner of Dementia Matters during 2019. Celebrating 30 years of improving lives, we are marking this impressive milestone with our ’30 in 30’ challenge – raising £30,000 for 3 fantastic charities. Selected by our employees, we are proud to be supporting Dementia Matters a long-standing North East-based not-for-profit organisation (where Connect Health was founded), who provide such a vital service to the community, providing high-quality care and support services for people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Lee Ali states “As Finance Director of Connect Health and a member of the Board of Trustees for Dementia Matters, I am personally delighted that our employees have selected Dementia Matters as one of our sponsored charities for our “30 in 30” challenge. I look forward to the Connect Health team rising to the challenge and raising £30,000 for our three selected charities, which will provide additional financial resources to assist with the care, support and services they each deliver in their respective fields.”

Founded by Prof Andrew Walton in 1989, Connect Health has grown from a single private clinic to be the largest, independent provider of integrated community MSK (musculoskeletal) services in the UK. Serving over 300k NHS patients per annum, the organisation carries out nearly half a million appointments per annum, with a key focus on improving the quality of people’s lives.

We look forward to working in partnership over the coming year.
