What we do at Dementia Matters really does make a difference to the person with dementia, their families and the wider community. Having been personally affected by dementia, I know how important the work done by Dementia Matters is to families.

I joined Dementia Matters in 2011 as an Admin Assistant, providing general support to Finance, HR and Training and covering reception as part of a rota. Over my time with the charity, I have been allowed the opportunity to develop my skills and gravitate towards HR, which is something I really enjoy. I now have my Level 5 in Human Resources Management and work alongside Hannah, our Head of HR, in supporting our staff teams across the organisation.
