Peer Support for people living with Young On-set Dementia

Dementia Matters are pleased to introduce our online Peer Support Group for people living with young onset dementia (diagnosed before the age of 65).

These sessions take place via Zoom on the second Wednesday of every month, with a view to potentially moving to a face to face support meeting once COVID19 restrictions allow. The sessions are led by our fantastic Admiral Nurse, Joe Costello, with support from Dementia Matters staff.

The new Peer Support Group offers:

  • Friendship – the chance to meet others living with young onset dementia
  • Support - talk to staff from Dementia Matters about the things that would make life better
  • Social events and activities
