  • Why work for us

Why work for us

Making a difference to the lives of people with dementia and seeing the impact our services can have makes Dementia Matters a rewarding place to work.

From an employment perspective, we recognise that we could not achieve high standards and levels of care for those that we support were it not for our employees working directly with these people. We are always looking to encourage, train and develop people to be the best.

People are at the heart of what we do and providing a workplace within which people feel valued, heard, understood and taken seriously is key.

Whatever role you have within Dementia Matters, we can offer you a rewarding job, helping people in need.

For our paid roles, we require people who have a genuine interest in the caring profession and are willing to work to improve the lives of people with dementia and other degenerative neurological conditions. In return, we offer:

  • Paid travel time and mileage

  • NEST pension scheme

  • Employee Life Assurance and Assistance Programme

  • Guaranteed contracted hours

  • Fully-funded specialist training

  • Career progression opportunities
